XTRF cooperates with XML-INTL - 11 July 2007

Lido-Lang based in Krakow, Poland and XML-INTL with their head office in UK are pleased to announce their partnership with the aim of integrating their products XTRF and XTM to create a combined LSP management system and CAT tool. The resultant enterprise scale product will be web based and will enable translation companies to carry out their general administration, CRM and SRM tasks, while also benefiting from a premium CAT tool.

"We listened to the market and are ready to offer a comprehensive integrated solution. Today translation companies are being compelled to raise their overall efficiency, for which they require a state of the art IT system to handle all aspects of their work.” - Says Jurek Nedoma, CEO of Lido-Lang Technical Translations. “With XTRF-XTM many of the traditionally labour intensive manual processes are automated.  You can simply create projects, manage the work-flow, extract text for translation and present source files for online processing by the project team who receive an email link to access the files. The fully featured browser-based translator workbench allows multiple translators and reviewers to work on the same file simultaneously, shortening turnaround times dramatically.”

Andrzej Zydron, CTO of XML-INTL adds - "We are excited by the possibilities arising from this partnership.  XTRF-XTM is entirely based on open standards and since it is completely scalable, it is suitable for all sizes of LSP. The new solution uses linguistically enhanced matching as well as dynamically shared central memories, to provide a significant improvement in match rates”.

The joint product is due to be released by Q4 this year. More information about the Lido-Lang and XTM-INTL products, is available on their websites at www.xtrf.eu and www.xml-intl.com.
