XML-INTL named as leading implementer of new word count standard (GMX-V) - 24 February 2008

In a recent Colorado Translators Association Newsletter, Clove Lynch named XML-INTL as one of two companies that implemented GMX-V - the Global information management Metrics eXchange standard.

LISA.org defines GMX-V as a standard and more precise definition of the statistics necessary for to assess the quantity of text (and costs) associated with language-related globalization tasks.

XML-INTL has been key in the architecture of the proposed LISA OSCAR Global Information Management Metrics GMX standard. This very important initiative defines an unambiguous definition for word and character counts for localizable electronic documents.
